Mobsteel
Detroit, MI · Metro Detroit
Owner Adam Genei
Mobsteel is Detroit's best-known custom and restomod house, the shop behind the 'Detroit Steel' TV series and the Detroit Steel Wheel Co. line of large-diameter steelies. It starts with vintage American iron, Lincoln Continentals, Mercurys, and full-size GM and Ford trucks, and rebuilds them into air-ride, crate-powered street machines with bespoke paint and interiors, including SEMA-shown cars like the 727-horsepower 'Hitter 5.0.' It is a builder for the owner who wants a bold, one-off restomod with a story and a brand behind it, rather than a factory-correct concours restoration.
